It’s been a challenging few weeks for me. Work has been crazy busy. I am studying for my exams and family commitments has proven to be way to stressful. It’s really been a bit of a whirlwind for me with far too many 5:30 am mornings.  I know that I need to sit down and plan my days more effectively but I also have a lot of existing commitments that can’t be changed and that I love.

Last week Tuesday I attended a “food talk” event hosted by Rawlcious. It was simply amazing.  They spoke about all kinds of positivity, good food and how to live a well balanced productive life. The talk made me realised that the only way to get through stressful periods like this is to adopt a really positive attitude. I left the event feeling alive and recharged to get back on track and I thought this quote would be perfect for this week

“Change your thoughts and you change your world. Norman Vincent Peale”

Thinking positive, changing my attitude and doing the best in everything that I am doing makes a big difference. My dead-lines have not changed and my weeks ahead are still demanding but I am able to get through my day in a much happier and productive way. You are in control of your thoughts and if you focus on the positive and change the way you think amongst the noise of life….then the world around you will change

Have a fabulous week and be mindful that you may not always be able to change a situation that you don’t like but you can find positive ways to approach it and it would certainly help you through your day

    Oh..would love to go for any talk about good food and how to live a well balanced productive life. Great advice..our though really determine most of the things in our life.

    I couldn’t agree more. Well, apart from changing your thoughts, applying it to action makes things more realistic and possible. One thing I do whenever things are getting too overwhelmed to handle, I always keep in mind that if these things stressing me out won’t matter 5 years from now, I should not invest too much emotion in it. It’s not that I am putting off myself from the responsibilities I have but it’s making things easier by not stressing things out. I still work on it but much lesser emotion by that time.
